Australasian Mathematics Olympiad

James and Emma ranked in the top 10% of the Australasian Mathematics Olympiad. The program is unique in that they focus on the students' ability to solve mathematical problems in a creative manner - as opposed to simply reaching a solution using a prescribed method.​ The students in 5/6O competed against schools from all over Australia and New Zealand. We also had 2 students finish in the top 20% and a further 2 finish in the top 50%.
