At Queanbeyan South Public School, we believe that every child brings with them their own strengths, stories, and potential. Our dedicated and caring teachers are here to nurture that — to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired.
Our major educational initiatives focus on equity for all students, wellbeing, student growth and attainment in reading and numeracy, explicit teaching, Aboriginal education, High Potential Gifted Education and excellence in sport and performing arts. The school’s educational culture is driven by quality teaching and improvement with highly skilled professional staff enhancing student opportunities at every level.

Wellbeing and support staff
Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.
